Re:Mind ("we," "our," or "us") provides tools, resources, and digital products that help people improve decision-making and critical thinking. This policy applies to our website, app, email products, Stripe-powered purchases, and any service that links to this page.

By using Re:Mind, you consent to the data practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information received from third parties (including Facebook Login, Google Authentication, and Stripe)

1.1 Information You Provide

We may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Login credentials (if using an email/password account)
  • Billing details such as billing name, address, and partial card information (via Stripe)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full credit card numbers)
  • Responses in forms, surveys, or feedback
  • Support requests and messages

If you use Facebook Login or Google Authentication, we receive only the information you allow them to share, such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Profile photo (optional)
  • User ID

We do not receive your friends list, messages, or public/private posts.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We do not collect behavioral, analytics, or device-level data beyond what is necessary for basic website functionality. Our website (remind.coach) only collects minimal technical information that your browser automatically sends when loading a webpage, such as:

  • Basic server logs (IP address, timestamp, and URL requested)

These logs are temporary and used solely for security and troubleshooting.

We do not store or track:

  • Page views
  • Usage behavior
  • Device fingerprinting
  • Tracking cookies
  • Advertising identifiers

1.3 Information From Third Parties

We only receive limited information from the following authentication and payment providers:

  • Facebook Login – name and email address (if permission granted)
  • Google Authentication – name and email address
  • Stripe – payment confirmation details (we do not receive or store full payment card numbers)
  • Email service provider – email delivery status (open, bounce, unsubscribe notifications)

We do not receive behavioral data, analytics, marketing profiles, or third‑party demographic data. We do not buy third‑party data and do not sell personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

2.1 To Provide and Improve Re:Mind

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Allow login via email, Facebook Login, or Google Authentication
  • Process purchases and subscriptions via Stripe
  • Provide access to digital content, apps, and purchases
  • Personalize your learning experience

2.2 To Communicate With You

  • Send transactional emails (receipts, account notices, subscription updates)
  • Send optional newsletters, lessons, and product updates (only if you opted in)

6. Facebook Login & Google Authentication Compliance

If you choose to log in with Facebook or Google:

  • We only access the information you explicitly grant permission for.
  • You can revoke permissions at any time in your Facebook or Google settings.
  • We do not post to your Facebook account.
  • We do not access your Facebook Friends, messages, or feed.

This page (our Privacy Policy URL) is publicly available, non-geo-blocked, and accessible to Meta's crawlers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide services and maintain your account
  • Process payments and comply with tax and accounting rules
  • Meet legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements

When data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

8. How to Request Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time.

To request deletion:

Please include the email address associated with your account and indicate whether you signed up via email/password, Facebook Login, Google Authentication, or another method.

We will:

  • Verify your identity
  • Delete or anonymize your account and associated personal data (except where retention is required by law)
  • Confirm completion within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days)

If you used Facebook Login or Google Authentication, you may also remove Re:Mind from your account by going to Settings → Apps & Websites and revoking access.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction – Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion – Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restriction – Request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Portability – Request a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable copy of your data (where applicable).
  • Objection – Object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.
  • Withdrawal of consent – Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

10. Children's Privacy

Re:Mind is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that a child's data was collected, we will delete it promptly.

We operate primarily in the United States. If you access Re:Mind from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate.

By using Re:Mind, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
